Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SetEnforce, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses SetEnforce.

Service Description

SetEnforce is a domain security compliance and validation platform. It checks publicly-available configuration for a domain you submit, such as RPKI, DANE, DNSSEC, email security, and web security settings, and presents the results as a report. The service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

Account Terms

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a security risk to SetEnforce or other users.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use SetEnforce responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or quotas on the validation features.
  • Use the service to scan domains you do not own or have permission to assess, in a way that violates the rights of the domain's owner or operator.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to gather information for malicious or harassing purposes.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to SetEnforce's systems or other users' accounts.

Disclaimers

Scan results and compliance scores produced by SetEnforce are informational only. They reflect an automated check of publicly-observable configuration at the time of the scan and do not constitute a certification, audit, or guarantee of security, compliance, or fitness for any regulatory or contractual standard. You are responsible for independently verifying your domain's security posture and for any decisions made based on SetEnforce's results.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SetEnforce and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of SetEnforce after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
